Save and attach proof of original purchase date, such as a sales slip, to establish the warranty period.

How to Obtain Service

All warranty service will be provided by our Consumer Service Centers or by our authorized Customer Care® services during normal working hours. To schedule service, visit us at ge.com or call 800-GE-CARES (800-432-2737). Please have the serial number and model number available when calling for service. This warranty extends to the original purchaser and all succeeding owners for products purchased for home use in the U.S.

(If the product is located in an area where service by a GE servicer is not available, you may be responsible for a trip charge or required to bring the product to an authorized GE service location for service. In Alaska, the warranty excludes the cost of shipping or service calls to your home.)

Coverage

Limited one-year operational warranty for refrigerator, freezer, electric/gas range, hood/cooktop, oven, washer, dryer, dishwasher, icemaker, disposer, and compactor products.

What is Covered:

• Monogram Refrigerators: Two years from the date of original purchase; free parts and service labor in your home to repair or replace any part of the refrigerator that fails due to a manufacturing defect.
• Refrigerating Sealed System (GE Profile and Profile Models): Five years from the date of original purchase; free parts and service labor in your home to repair or replace any part of the sealed refrigerating system (compressor, condenser, evaporator, and all connecting tubing).
• Additional Warranty on Monogram Built-In Models: For the sixth through twelfth years from the date of original purchase; free replacement parts for any part of the sealed refrigerating system, with the customer responsible for service labor charges.
• GE Profile Washers: Includes additional four-year and lifetime limited warranties covering various components.
• GE Profile Dishwashers: Four years covering racks and electronic control boards; lifetime warranty for the tub and door liner.
• Monogram Dishwashers: Five years covering dishwasher racks and electronic control modules.

Additional Coverage

Detailed coverage for other appliances such as ranges, hoods, warming drawers, air conditioners, and compact refrigerators are included. Coverage spans from 1 to 10 years, depending on the product and component.

Exclusions

Appearance items, cosmetic defects, service trips to educate on product usage, installation problems, improper maintenance, or damages from accidents, fire, floods, or acts of God are excluded from coverage.

EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES: Your sole and exclusive remedy is product repair as provided in this Limited Warranty. Any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to one year or the shortest period allowed by law.

Legal Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Warranties on Products Not Covered Above

Limited Five-Year Warranty (Monogram Pro Ranges Only)
For five years from the date of original purchase, we will provide, free of charge,
replacement surface burners if they fail in normal household use. You pay for the
service trip to your home and a service labor charge.

Limited Lifetime Warranty (Monogram Pro Ranges Only)
For the lifetime of the gray porcelain enamel oven racks, we will provide, free of charge,
replacement racks if they fail in normal household use. You pay for the service trip
to your home and all labor charges.

Limited Compact Refrigerator Warranty
For one year from the date of original purchase, GE will replace, free of charge,
any part of the refrigerator that fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
During this limited one-year warranty, GE will also provide, free of charge, all labor
and related service costs to replace the defective part.

Limited Additional Four-Year Warranty (Microwave Oven Magnetron Tube)
For the second through fifth years from the date of original purchase, GE will provide,
at no additional charge, a replacement Magnetron Tube if the magnetron tube fails due
to a defect in materials or workmanship. During this additional four-year limited warranty,
you will be responsible for any labor and related service costs.

Limited One-Year Wine Chiller Warranty
For one year from the date of original purchase, GE will provide, free of charge, parts
and labor to repair or replace any operating part of the wine chiller that fails due to a
defect in materials or workmanship.

Limited Additional Four-Year Wine Chiller Warranty (Compressor Only)
For the second through fifth years from the date of original purchase, GE will replace the
compressor, free of charge, if it fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship. During
this additional limited warranty, you will be responsible for any labor and related service costs.

Limited Three-Year Warranty (GE Commercial Washers & Dryers)
For three years from the date of original purchase, GE will replace, free of charge, any part
of the washer or dryer that fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship. You will be
responsible for any labor and related service costs.

What Is Not Covered:
- Damage caused by accident, abuse, fire, floods, or acts of God.
- Service trips to your home to instruct you on the use of the product.
- Repairs when your product is used for other than its intended purpose.
- Replacement of house fuses or resetting of circuit breakers.

EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES:
